For those of you who have never been to Changchun it’s a city located in North East China. The local people here call themselves Dongbei (EastNorth) people. The weather can be a little cold here sometimes, but not to worry all of apartments have heating during the winter. In southern China the apartments normally do not have indoor heating even in the winter. The cost of living here is very cheap compared to other cities in China. You can buy a meal out for around 3-5 USD, and if you want fast food the prices are usually around 5-7USD. Taxi starting price is only around $1 dollar, and you can ride a bus for around $.20. It’s really easy to save money here.
